Just a few more and we might be able to make that squad a little more manageable.
In case there were some of you that thought the transfer window was closed, that was only for the teams in the Championship and Premier League clubs. The rest of Europe and the lower leagues in Britain were still free to bring players in.
As a result, Forest confirmed today that 18-year-old Arvin Appiah completed a move to Spanish side UD Almeria. Appiah had only made a handful of appearances for the Reds during his time at the City Ground and only managed to find the net once, against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup last season.
Although the club didn’t say how much the deal was worth, reports from Paul Taylor of The Athletic claimed that the deal could be worth up to £8m, and it was that fee that was the big talking point amongst the Forest fans when they saw the news.
For 8 million, with ffp obviously in their minds, I think this is quite a good selling. Of course it would have been better for us fans for him to go on loan but in the end I’m quite happy????????

Although there were a number of fans who weren’t entirely convinced that the money was worth separating from the young man. They seemed to think he had a future at the club.
Shame we couldn’t see what he could’ve done for us in the future. Got bags of potential, Best of luck Arvin ????????
