I’m pretty sure that’s the message that Nottingham Forest fans are trying to get across right now. The Reds currently find themselves on the cusp of being able to reach out and touch the top two at this point after their victory over Brentford left them just two points away from the automatic promotion spots in the division.
And there was only one thing that Forest fans could say after that victory in West London, it’s time to get the pen and paper out, perhaps a blank cheque too and hand it to Sabri Lamouchi.
The Frenchman was only handed a one-year contract when he took over from Martin O’Neill in the summer, but after the start he’s made in the dugout, fans want him to stay far beyond his current deal, to either manage them in the top flight, or to be in place for another crack at promotion again next campaign.
In Sabri we trust. Get the man a contract! #nffc https://t.co/yWYPcasVXr

Remember when SL came in, not many fans were happy… Oh man we can be wrong sometimes, what a coach!

Best signing Forest could make this window would be to give Lamouchi a new contract. Genuinely mean that #nffc

Can someone ask Mr Randall and Mr Marinakis if they can give Sabri a new contract please, even if we didn’t go up this season, I’d trust him to try again next season rather than gambling on someone new again.. #NFFC

At wot point do we give Lamouchi a new contract #nffc

Seriously need to consider giving Sabri a new contract sooner rather than later before another club snaps him up because he is creating something special – every single forest player fights for him out there on that pitch #nffc

Paul Taylor revealed in a recent Q&A for The Athletic that negotiations would start after the transfer window, so it looks like we could be in for some good news any day now.
