Nottingham Forest got back to winning ways in the midweek Championship clash against Bolton Wanderers and secured themselves a pretty comfortable 3-0 victory with goals coming from Joe Lolley and a Lewis Grabban brace.

26-year-old Lolley has been winning fans over following his arrival from Huddersfield Town in last January’s transfer window and he’s now notched up 25 starting appearances for the club, with a further eight showings from the substitutes bench. In that time he’s contributed eight goals across all competitions and his effort on Wednesday evening was his fifth of the 2018/19 campaign and his fourth in the last six matches.

Having suffered our first home defeat of the league campaign in the previous game against Norwich City, it was certainly the right way to bounce back and we now go into this weekend’s clash with table toppers Leeds United with renewed spirits.

With Lolley getting us underway in the last match, he came in for huge praise on social media amongst the Forest faithful.

If he can make that five goals in seven in Saturday’s evening kickoff we’ll be one step closer to registering back to back victories again and another three points.
