I doubt this is the way he would have hoped to ‘celebrate it’.
But you can’t always dictate these kinds of things, not everybody gets their fairy tale story.
Nottingham Forest suffered their first defeat since the restart of the Championship season as they lost 1-0 to Fulham, but it was a very special occasion for one member of the Forest side as defender Joe Worrall made his 100th appearance in the Garibaldi.
A graduate of the Forest academy, the 23-year-old has played every minute of our league campaign so far this season and has gone on to form two great defensive partnerships, first with captain Michael Dawson, and then Tobias Figueiredo.
Is Worrall a future Forest captain?
Yes
No
And fans were on hand to congratulate him on making such an important milestone, and talk about just how important he has been to our team throughout this season.
And what a quality player he is turning out to be! Forest academy has to be one of the best around, always turning out good players, the new crop coming through now look class too 👍 #nffc

Played every single minute of what has been our best season in years, and one silly mistake and people want him benched? Bore off.

Dawson return has also been brilliant in his development. Just like Dessie was with a young Dawson. #NFFC

What about you? What have you made of Worrall, both this season and his whole career?
