This doesn’t exactly seem like a fair debate does it?
Yet for some reason they decided to hold it, for reasons which I’m sure only they’ll know and I’m not sure I want to get into.
It’s well known just how popular Brice Samba is right now at the City Ground, so quite why anyone would want throw up a challenger to his throne of King Of The City Ground (alright it’s not official, but I feel that it’s pretty close), is quite baffling.
But that’s precisely what @CityGroundHQ did yesterday as he pondered whether or not a ‘prime Karl Darlow’ would be able to get into the team ahead of Samba. Now given that Samba has already equalled Darlow’s personal best for clean sheets in a season at the City Ground and it’s still only February, I think it’s safe to say who has been the better performer, so far anyway.
Are you a fan of Brice Samba's time-wasting 'skills'
Yes
No
The question was met with a barrage of disparaging comments, either aimed at @CityGroundHQ for asking what the fans felt was a preposterous question in the first place, with others taking a shot at Darlow. Which is a bit harsh, it’s not like he instigated the whole debate.
Not a chance Brice Samba can actually catch a ball from a cross 🙄

Was there a prime Darlow?

Couldn’t even fit into his gloves.

I understand humour is subjective but that isn’t funny at all

No. Darlow was a very good keeper but Brice just has that something extra.
I dont know whether I say that because he is just a great character to have in the club though

Maybe next time he’ll actually have a decent question to propose.
