Undeniably, there’s an overwhelmingly positive feeling that characterises those affiliated with the club. Our transfer business has been excellent, and preparations for the upcoming season have are progression well, as was epitomised by our 1-0 victory against Scunthorpe United.
In our latest pre-season game against Scunthorpe United, we recorded a 1-0 triumph as we seek to attain momentum ahead of the new season. As we say every pre-season, the most crucial aspect of the fixtures is that players develop match-fitness and familiarise themselves with tactics and strategies ahead of the upcoming campaign.
That said, there’s no harm in winning, and last night’s victory – albeit against inferior opposition – is likely to maintain confidence ahead of the start of the Championship season.
Without a doubt, we’ve been utterly relentless in the transfer market, and many people are anticipating that we’ll be challenging for promotion to the top-flight of English football. And, it seems that the Forest fans on Twitter are in agreement.
