Former Forest and Republic Of Ireland defender John Thompson has become the second Forest player in as many days to join the Lancashire club, after former keeper Mark Crossley joined yesterday.
The former Reds academy graduate has signed on a two year deal. He was released at the end of last season after spending time out on loan at Tranmere. He made 148 appearances for the Reds.
