Ghana made it to the final of the Zenith Four Nations Tournament by beating Togo 2-0 on Sunday. Agogo was voted man of the match and had a goal disallowed in the game.

The tournament was arranged as a warm up to the African Cup of Nations, which gets underway in January. Junior is expected to be part of the squad and could be away for 5-6 weeks. The final (KO 5.30GMT) takes place at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra against Benin (The Squirrels?).

The game on Sunday was the first game played by the national side on home turf for two years and was watched by a crowd of over 40,000. Junior is due back in the UK on Friday, when it’s hoped he will meet up with his Reds team mates ahead of the weekend game against Crewe.
