If Junior Agogo wants to remain a Forest player, then he’d better have a word with his agent. Because from all accounts he’s doing his best to flog the ‘Prince of Nottinghamshire’ to the highest bidder.

Agogo is currently in Australia with the Ghana National team for a friendly in Sydney. He told the Nottingham Evening Post. ‘I am so pleased for the fans that they have finally got their promotion, Nottingham has been a party city since the game. I want to get this international out of the way and I will see what happens when I fly back into London, but yes, I would like to stay at Forest. I have had a great season. Hopefully I can carry on in my role for Ghana and Forest, but I will see what happens. At the minute I am a Forest player.’

Junior finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 13 goals, despite being away for the ACON tournament. Since his return he did suffer a dip in form , but many players do after a big tournament. Opinion is split on whether Junior is good enough for the Championship, but if his future really is at the City Ground, then he’d better get on the phone to that agent pretty quick, before he auctions him off.
