Agogo Completes Move To Zamalek

It’s taken over a month to complete, but today Junior Agogo finally joined Egyptian club, Zamalek.

According to Setanta Sports News, he will cost the Egyptians £565,000, which is a little less than the £950,000 originally agreed between the two clubs. But Forest will be glad to be finally rid of the want away striker.

Agogo finished the last campaign as top scorer for the Reds’, despite being away for the ACON tournament for most of January and February. He’s made no secret of his desire to move away from the City Ground, but we should bare him no grudges. He was only a League 1 striker at best and he served us well in his short time here since joining from Bristol Rovers in 2006. Zamalek will unveil their shiny new signing on Thursday.
