It looks as though Forest striker Junior Agogo could be on his way out of the club, following news of his imminent signing at Egyptian side Zamalek.

Sources in Egypt are claiming that talks are at an advanced stage and close to completion.

Since the Prince of Nottinghamshire’s success at the African Cup of Nations, a move away from the City Ground has been on the cards.

Agogo was the Reds’ top scorer last season with 13 goals and he’s made no secret of his desire to play elsewhere. The deal with Zamalek is tied into the sale of their star striker Amr Zaki, who is set to join Premiership side Wigan Athletic.

UPDATE: It now seems that Zamalek are the second club to show an interest in Junior. Dubai based Al Ahli FC pulled out of a deal for the Reds striker over differences regarding the players age. They claimed that Agogo is 33 years old, whereas his PLayer Profile on the official site says he’s 29. Al Ahli also say, they couldn’t agree personal terms with him.
