A Sorry Performance – Calderwood

On December 12, 2006, Forest travelled to Bournemouth and were beaten 2-0. That was the beginning of the end in our push for promotion. On February 2, 2008 we met Bournemouth again and were beaten 2-0, only this time it could not only be the beginning of the end in our push for promotion, it could be the end of the manager as well.

Calderwood told the official site. ‘It was a very bleak afternoon, there were no redeeming features in that performance, no element of hope and we leave with our tails between our legs.’

According to fans who were unfortunate to witness yet another away day horror, it was the worst performance of the season. Calderwood should at least get credit for not underplaying how bad a display this was from the lads.

He went on to say, ‘It was a sorry performance at the very least.’ I don’t think we’ll argue over that one Colin. The problem CC now has, is that it’s beginning to look like he’s lost the fans. Does he still get your vote? Is CC the man to lead us to promotion? Or should he get the push? Have your say and join in the debate on the forum today.
