Nottingham Forest confirmed on New Year’s Eve that following the loss to Sunderland, manager Mark Warburton had now moved on from the City Ground.

Warburton’s contract at the club was terminated with immediate effect earlier today, and David Weir and Frank McParland have also left the club.

Academy manager Gary Brazil has once again been appointed caretaker manager, assuming his duties this morning, whilst the club now embark on a new manager search.

A brief statement from the club read.

‘The club would like to thank Mark, David and Frank for all their efforts during their time at The City Ground.’
