With so many players coming in, some Forest fans are starting to get concerned that their squad is too big.

Well, luckily Forest fans’ prayers could soon be answered, although I don’t think in quite the manner they would have hoped, with 24-year-old Ben Osborn set to be on the way out. The Sun are reporting that Sheffield United have already made an offer of £3m for the Forest man.

Osborn is a utility player, and perhaps that’s the main reason he’s wanted by Blades boss Chris Wilder, who’ll be looking to add depth to his squad as he moves up to the Premier League, and buying one man who can play many positions can go along way to helping that.

Over the past year, Osborn has played in a number of positions including left midfield, left back, central midfield and attacking midfield. His natural position though, or at least the position he played most for the Reds was out wide, either as a left winger or left back, and that allowed him to chip in with two goals and six assists this past season.

Forest fans though, aren’t entirely sure whether or not the £3m reported is an adequate fee for him, and that caused a bit of a discussion amongst fans on Twitter. Some just argued over the fee, whilst a few others just stuck to whether or not he was good enough to be on the team regardless of how much someone was willing to pay for him.
