One thing at a time.

That seemed to be the message that journalist Alan Nixon wanted to get across to Nottingham Forest fans in light of some recent transfer reports. The journalist claimed a few weeks ago that the deals to bring Lyle Taylor and Jack Colback to the City Ground were ‘active’, and that appears to still be the case.

However, there needs to be a few things sorted out first before they can move closer to being completed according to him.

I’ll be interested to see what those things are that we need to deal with. I said earlier today that the club needed to make sure our business was done early due to the quick turnaround between the end of last season and the start of the next, so hopefully those things won’t take up too much of the club’s time and we can get these deals done soon.

How much will Nottingham Forest spend this season?

Less than £15m

Less than £15m

£15m or less

£15m or less

Otherwise we risk the possibility of getting next season off to a bad start and having to play catch-up throughout.

What about you? What do you make of this news regarding Colback and Taylor?
