A Few Questions for Mark Arthur

It’s all well and good ranting and raving on a message board about our unhappiness at how the club is being run, but what does that achieve? Two days after the debacle that was Yeovil and I still feel no better. Such is our dismay at the way the club is being run, I have written to them.

These are the questions Vital Forest have asked Mark Arthur in the hope of getting a response and maybe some insight as to what the Club plans to do to put things right.

Will Colin Calderwood be manager of NFFC next season?

Will the Chairman back the manager financially?

What was the transfer budget for last season?

If Mr. Calderwood and the Club was genuinely happy with the squad, do they now concede they were not good enough?

Why did we fail to attract any players in the transfer window? The Club said, ‘We would buy from a position of strength.’ Why when we were in poll position could we not attract anyone?

Was the Paul Henry loan signing, just a way of appeasing the fans?

He arrived amidst a blaze of publicity and was set to be the next big thing. What was so wrong with him that meant he only had 3 mins of first team action and was then sent back to Reading?

Why did the Club fail to adequately replace Nicky Southall? Does he agree that the Club made a big mistake over the whole ‘Jarvis’ affair.

Does he agree that the Club as a whole has let down the supporters?

Can he name any players we actively tried to sign?

Does Nigel Doughty still have the same ambition and passion for the club? Is he seeking to sell, or looking for any outside investment?

Did the Club take any action against the players who managed to get themselves in the press following a night out in Nottingham City Centre at New Year?

What exactly has David Pleat done to help NFFC since his appointment?

Will there be another rise in the cost of Season Tickets?

If suitable offers were to be made for the likes of Commons and Tyson, would they be sold?

Is your position as Chief Executive now untenable?

Is there anything we have to look forward to? Is there any good news for the supporters of NFFC?
